1 Introduction Wind energy is one of the primary and most recognizable sources of renewable energy. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), wind energy generation has exceeded 2100 TWh as of 2022 with a global target of 7400 TWh by 2030 [1]. Despite more countries looking to diversify their energy supplies to rely less on fossil fuels, supply chain issues and increases in commodity prices are causing turbine costs to rise, making margins smaller for wind farm owners.
