Cora Currier’s Biography
I am a freelance editor and writer based in Los Angeles. I've been on staff at The Intercept, ProPublica, and The New Yorker, and have reported extensively on the war on terror, surveillance tech, immigration, and Central America, among other topics.
My book reviews and essays have also appeared in the New Republic, Dissent, Bookforum, the Nation, the New Inquiry, and elsewhere.
And I'm a co-founding editor of the feminist magazine Lux, where I commission reported features, essays, and reviews.
