Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, of course! As a kid, I would type on my grandparents' typewriter.

How is social media changing news?

Most people seem to be getting their stories from their social feeds.

Why did you become a journalist?

I have always loved to write. I won a Young Authors' Award in second grade and haven't stopped since.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

There's a lot of hard work that you don't see. Put in the effort and you'll make traction.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

I try to be open to all new ideas.
