BACKGROUND
Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Robinson has been an IT leader in various firms in the ERP consulting, manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, and medical insurance fields. He has led IT teams in various regulatory environments such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and state regulatory bodies such as the New York State Department of Financial Services. In these roles he has been part of the practitioner side of various cybersecurity functions such as performing vulnerability assessments, doing internal IT security audits, and implementing intrusion detection systems.
