Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, I have my great-grandmother's old typewriter at home I occasionally use for creative writing projects.

More and more people are relying on social media as their main source of news, and journalists need to adapt to that to stay current.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist means to keep our readers informed about their community and to tell their stories.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email or WhatsApp.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
For administrative work, I use LibreOffice Writer and Calc. For video editing, I use Adobe Premiere Pro.
What's your favorite social network?
Threads or TikTok at the moment.
Who do you wish followed you?
Bob Woodward would be incredible or Ray Mears.
Why did you become a journalist?
In a world of misinformation, I wanted to be a voice that people could trust and would come back to.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My school didn't have a newspaper, even if it did, I wasn't interested in journalism at that age.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Build a portfolio of work; it carries more weight than your qualifications.

What's your favorite drink?
Lucozade.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Either in the gym, out running, or reading.
