Experience with Dubey & Schaldenbrand?
Recently discovered this gem and seriously considering pulling the trigger - https://www.keepthetime.com/product/dubey-schaldenbrand-gran-chrono-astro-moonphase-triple-date/. Amazing usage of dial space, and beautiful case back. I posted a couple of pics below I know TGV raves about his rattrapante from D&S but this tonneau case tops all . A couple of questions for the community: 1) Anyone have an experience with the brand? - I am going to shoot myself in the foot with service?
Arnold Schwarzenegger launches his Watch Brand at Baselworld 2015 - AS Watches
The Schwarzenegger collection - which their namesake says is intended to be a "more affordable" alternative for watch lovers who adore large, luxurious-looking sport watches but can't necessarily spring for an AP Royal Oak or Panerai - comprises more than 100 references in three distinct collections, each representing one facet of Schwarzenegger's eclectic career.
The Mako Afterglow (2nd year experience wearing the Orient Mako)
I was never a big dive watch fan- I'm not a diver and I prefer more dressy/retro designs but.....I needed a rainy day watch and, coming to this forum, I started to appreciate the dive watch style. I was thinking about getting a Christopher Ward Trident but in the meantime I got a Mako from an Amazon Black Friday deal for $75. $75 how could I resist? I realize Chris Ward and a Mako are on different levels and all that but I really like the Mako and I think I'll save my money and stick with it.

El objetivo central de la presente Tesis Doctoral es el desarrollo de nuevas metodologías para la construcción de pirrolidinas enantioenriquecidas mediante la cicloadición 1,3-dipolar catalítica asimétrica de iluros de azometino.
I want this clean, slim, everyday beater--only nicer.
#1 · I've had a Skagen M15LSL for nearly 15 years. It was my very first watch, and we have been through a lot together. I would never dream of retiring the little guy, but a recent close call with a botched repair had me convinced I can't wear it as often anymore (lest I lose it forever)! Pictures below. I'm now looking for more or less the same thing, only more upmarket (I'm an adult now). In other words, an extraordinarily slim, reliable beater with a clean look and good build.
Giant Reverso Sintra Portugal
#1 · The title pretty much explains it but to reiterate - here's a big huge Reverso. See less See more
(Best? Worst?) Suck for the buck watches
Bang for your buck is a common theme on forums and YouTube channels. Orient is a favorite in this category as are some Chinese brands such as San Martin. What about the opposite? Swatch is the obvious choice to me - plastic everything with disposable movements. Another contender could be that Panerai from a few years ago with 50m of water resistance. Any watches with a glaring lack features for the price point come to mind?
Quartz stepper motor- how does it work?
