JVD | Free Full-Text | Comparison of Performance of Micro-Computed Tomography (Micro-CT) and Synchrotron Radiation CT in Assessing Coronary Stenosis Caused by Calcified Plaques in Coronary Artery Phantoms
1. Introduction Coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) is commonly used for coronary artery disease (CAD) diagnosis because it is a less-invasive imaging modality and performs well in coronary stenosis assessment and cardiac event prediction [1,2,3]. For low to intermediate coronary stenosis, CCTA has very high negative predictive value as a result of its ability to exclude significant stenosis [4].
