Cy White is a published author and multifaceted media professional, with skills in various forms of digital media including video creation and editing, terrestrial radio and podcasting. As a music journalist since 2007, she's had the privilege of interviewing a broad range of musicians including Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, Rapsody, Linda Perry, Janet Adderley, Crush, Epik High, Jackson Wang, Samara Joy, and Slum Village for several music publications such as HiphopKR the #1 English-language publication covering hip hop and R&B from Korea. She's worked in the publishing industry for nearly 15 years as a senior editor and as the Design Director for Dreamspinner Press. She did a stint as an Associate Producer for KAZI 99.7 FM. With a focus on Korean entertainment, the authentic stories of Black, Brown, Indigenous, AANHPI folx and LGTBTQIA2S+ narratives, she has a unique perspective on the intersection between music, communities of color and self-identity.
