Integrated atrial fibrillation (AF) care has been associated with better cardiovascular outcomes in patients with AF. However, the impact of integrated AF care on quality of life (QOL) outcomes has not been determined. We aim 1) to assess whether integrated AF care and knowledge translation (KT) over one year can improve the QOL of patients with AF and 2) to validate a visual analog scale (VAS) QOL for AF.
A former Telluride High School student who nearly a dozen women say sexually assaulted them when they were teenagers has been sentenced to serve 45 days in jail. Rye Overly, now 22, was subject to more lenient juvenile sentencing because he was a minor at the time of the alleged assaults. He was also given two years of supervised probation. A total of 11 victims came forward.
