314 Cost-Effectiveness of Systematic Coronary Artery Calcium Scans Compared with Risk Scoring under Current Australian and US Guidelines
P. Venkataraman H. Kawakami D. Liew Q. Huynh T. Marwick Current Australian cardiovascular (CVD) guidelines use older risk scores and higher statin treatment thresholds compared to US guidelines. CT coronary calcium score (CAC) improves risk stratification and treatment adherence on statins. We compared the cost-effectiveness of CAC screening with current US and Australian guidelines in individuals with a family history of coronary disease (FHCAD).
468 Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Inclisiran as Add-On Lipid-Lowering Therapy for Patients With Cardiovascular Disease
Inclisiran inhibits hepatic synthesis of proprotein convertase subtilisin-kexin type 9 (PCSK9). The comparison of Inclisiran with statin versus statin alone in ORION-10 trial demonstrated significant reductions in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C). Our study explored the price of Inclisiran at which cost-effectiveness is achieved for secondary prevention of cardiovascular events from the Australian healthcare perspective.
725 Cost Effectiveness of Bempedoic Acid for Those at High Risk Cardiovascular Disease
K. Perera N. Kam Z. Ademi D. Liew E. Zomer Bempedoic acid is a novel adenosine triphosphate (ATP) citrate lyase inhibitor. The Cholesterol Lowering via Bempedoic Acid, an ACL-Inhibiting Regimen (CLEAR) Harmony trial demonstrated that bempedoic acid, in addition to statin therapy, significantly reduced low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD).

733 Health Economic Evaluation of Screening and Treating Children With Familial Hypercholesterolemia Early in Life: Many Happy Returns on Investment?
There are no studies that have investigated the cost-effectiveness of cascade screening of children for heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and treatment of affected individuals with statins to prevent coronary heart disease (CHD), from the perspective of the Australian public healthcare system.
Cost-Effectiveness of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation Compared to Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement in the Intermediate Surgical Risk Population
Gender Difference in Clinical Outcomes after Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Closure in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation
Longer-term Outcomes in Women Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Outcomes of Tricuspid Valve in Valve Implantation Via Trans-jugular and Transfemoral Approach
Prevalence, Outcomes and Cost Implications of Patients Undergoing same day Discharge after Elective Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Mechanical Circulatory support for semi – elective PCI in high- risk Patients with Extracorporeal Membranous Oxygenation (ECMO) Compared to Impella Heart Pump Device
Risk factor management in a contemporary Australian population at increased cardiovascular disease risk
Effective management of cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease risk factors offers longer, healthier lives and savings in health care. We examined risk factor management in participants of the SCReening Evaluation of the Evolution of New Heart Failure (SCREEN-HF) study, a self-selected population at increased cardiovascular disease risk recruited from members of a health insurance fund in Melbourne and Shepparton, Australia.
Cases And Meaning of Multiple Criteria Decision Analyses In The Real World: Overview Real Cases And Speculations For Korean Settings
Multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), which explicitly considers a range of criteria in outcomes analyses, remains relatively novel in health technology assessments (HTA). This study sought to review the use of MCDA in real world health policy decision making.
