Dak Dillon’s Biography

Dak Dillon is a leading communicator and designer working at the intersection of broadcasting, digital design and nonprofits.

Dak is Managing Editor of NewscastStudio, a trade publication serving the television creative and engineering industry, where he covers the changing landscape of media technology and storytelling.

Dak also hosts the Broadcast Exchange from NewscastStudio, a video podcast series that features conversations with those leading the future of broadcast technology, design and content.

As a photographer Dak has been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Foundation and published in The New York Times, USA Today, Chronicle of Higher Education, Sports Illustrated, Golf World and NASCAR Illustrated.

Dak has also hosted and produced a half-hour food tourism television show, led multiple efforts to connect businesses with creative professionals, and given back through various non-profits.
