If this old house (log cabin) could talk | Bella Vista Weekly Vista
Have you ever wondered where the oldest man-made structure in Bella Vista might stand? Most of our residents would probably tell you it is one of the Linebarger period (1917-1952) structures. Or maybe a building constructed by John Cooper, Sr. during Bella Vista's years as a village. Neither would be correct. At the southern edge of today's Bella Vista, on the west side of Highway 71, there stands a log cabin that is our oldest building. It was built in the 1850s and has a fascinating history.
LETTER: A thank you from the Bella Vista Historical Museum
We would like to thank the Bella Vista community for its continued support of our Bella Vista Historical Museum.
