Charge heterogenized PtFe clusters defy activity–selectivity trade-offs in propane dehydrogenation
Abstract Propane dehydrogenation is a pivotal industrial reaction, yet its efficiency is fundamentally constrained by the persistent scaling relation between propane activation and propylene desorption. Here, we transcend this compromise by deliberately constructing charge-state heterogeneity of silica-supported subnanometric PtFe clusters.
Pixel relationship-constrained weakly supervised semantic segmentation for remote sensing images: enhancing CAM integrity and pseudo-label quality
ABSTRACT Remote sensing image semantic segmentation plays a pivotal role in converting complex image data into quantifiable geographic spatial information, underpinning applications such as disaster assessment, urban planning, and agricultural resource investigation. Fully supervised semantic segmentation methods rely heavily on labour-intensive pixel-level annotations, prompting a shift towards weakly supervised semantic segmentation (WSSS) that utilizes image-level annotations.

Patch-sampled contrastive learning for dense prediction pretraining in metallographic images
10 hours ago My local AI setup handles writing, coding, and private documents without sending data online. I was one of the first people to jump on the ChatGPT bandwagon. The convenience of having an all-knowing research assistant available at the tap of a button has its appeal, and for a long time, I didn’t …
Deep-sea organism detection method based on the SDA-HTransYOLOv8n model
1 Introduction The deep sea, as both a frontier for earth science research and a treasure trove of strategic resources, has elevated the capability to explore and develop it into one of the core indicators for gauging a country’s scientific and technological prowess (Costa et al., 2020). As a pivotal technology for researching and conserving deep-sea biodiversity, underwater object detection faces numerous technical challenges.

Machine-learning-assisted discovery of 212-Zintl-phase compounds with ultra-low lattice thermal conductivity
Machine-learning-assisted discovery of 212-Zintl-phase compounds with ultra-low lattice thermal conductivity† Zintl-phase compounds hold immense potential for thermoelectric applications owing to their intrinsically low lattice thermal conductivity (κL). However, numerous 212-Zintl-phase compounds remain largely unexplored due to the challenges in assessing their thermal and electrical transport properties via traditional trial-and-error approaches.

Shade Increased Seed Yield and Quality of Incarvillea sinensis var. przewalskii
4. Materials and Methods 4.1. Plant Material, Growing Conditions, and Shade Treatments I. sinensis var. przewalskii is a perennial herb of Bignoniaceae that is distributed in southwestern, northwestern to northeastern China under mingled forest (2000–2600 m above sea level). The flowering and fruiting season may last for nearly 5 months, from early June to early November [1]. The terminal racemes generally have 5–15 flowers, which are pale yellow and campanulate-shaped.
