What was your first job as a journalist?
Well I guess it started when I was writing my own medium articles. I just wanted to document my own work but then it quickly grew into putting it on more and more platforms until now I'm here doing this interview because it said I should to complete my profile. I'm a completionist

How is social media changing news?
Well as someone in generation z I used to not really ever read legacy media. The entire way I would ingest news was through social media influencers especially on youtube. I still do, I get most of my news from social media although I like to fact check it against legacy Media to make sure stories actually did happen and then of course for my own opinion.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Lois lane, I watched the very old Superman cartoons when I was a kid.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I write articles, this interview must be for someone that's an actual journalist LOL but I do write stories so I can answer from that perspective. It's very fun, I love seeing people's perspectives and of course building off of them to make my own original things. Now that I think about it that's kind of what a journalist does.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
, when I was growing up I wasn't allowed to use the internet around the 2010s when meme culture was really huge. I was blessed with a few years of sight before going blind when I was allowed to use the internet and watch endless meme videos
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email is good
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use jaws, sometimes I use nvda, I use Windows magnifier. Those are my big tools for my computer. I use artificial intelligence specifically gemini.
What's your favorite social network?
X is my favorite by far. It's text base so it's really easy for me to navigate and use with my visual disability.
Who do you wish followed you?
The guy that invented the white papers for Bitcoin and web 3 and stuff. I love web 3
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I care about stories. Stories of existed throughout all of humans civilization.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. I was in student council though.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My blind strokes article. I put a lot of emotion and energy into those paintings in since I spend so much time working with artificial intelligence granted I may not have very much physical vision left I am really proud of the artwork I created and the way I created it.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never give up. Art isn't about numbers, nobody cared about van Gogh but now everybody knows about and cares about his paintings.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Usually in the morning time. I checked my email throughout the day sometimes at night because I like talking to people overseas.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch? I'm not a journalist, the best thing I get is people emailing me or messaging me about my work and saying nice things usually.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
There is no such thing. Everyone thinks their story is important.
What's your favorite drink?
Orange juice. My grandfather has had cancer several times and every time we would go to visit him we would drink orange juice together and it was my absolute favorite and still is. I don't mind pull either.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Usually I go out on a walk. I bring my cane with me especially if it's somewhere I'm not fully comfortable with, for example I don't use my cane very much when I'm walking around my neighborhood because I'm so used to it. Otherwise I'm walking around and going somewhere like the mall.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
Hackernoon is always very interesting to me. There's not as many art and creativity oriented people like me but when you find them it's always a good read.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
People have this strange idea sometimes that technology and creativity can't be combined. However it's simply not true, we watch digital films YouTube is entirely virtual from a viewer standpoint, using technology to create art is a very valid form of expression.
