What does it mean to be a journalist?
The desire to tell stories and change debates in the naive believe that if people are well informed they'll make good decisions.

With data and few words.

CartoDB, tweetdeck, tweetreach, muckrack, high charts, data wrapper, there are about 50....

Why did you become a journalist?
To change the world and hold liars to account.

Yes, I can't remember, it was a long time ago.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The story of illegal coal mining in China.

Don't do it.

An excel spreadsheet showing China's coal use numbers that nobody had yet published.
