Damien Haffenden

Damien Haffenden currently works as Executive Producer with Nova Podcasts. He also runs a media and marketing consulting business, Metro Groove. Previously, he was a prodcer for Sky News Australia, Digital Content Producer for Sunrise and The Morning Show. While at Seven, he was also Senior Producer for 7NEWS Podcasts, and worked as a writer and producer across 7NEWS.com.au, 7NEWS social media and YouTube channels. With a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, Damien spent eight years producing and presenting radio shows around regional Australia, before returning to Brisbane to work in digital marketing. Joining 7NEWS in 2018, Damien managed the social media accounts for all regional Queensland 7 News bulletins, as well as 7’s new late-night bulletin ‘The Latest’.
