Education comes in many forms –and it doesn’t always have to be in a formal classroom setting. Children are constantly learning from everything they experience around them – and one very special way of doing it is at a forest school. What are forest schools? They are education centres that use the natural environment to encourage exploration. Forest School Leaders aim to nurture a child’s curiosity about the world around them, rather than directing exercises.
