Dani Inchaurregui’s Biography
Dani Inchaurregui is a journalist, poet, and writer. A university researcher by day and a writer by night, Dani spends most – if not all – of her free time putting words to paper in the form of essays, articles, poems, short stories, and screenplays.
In less than a year, Dani has published close to forty articles that cover today’s hottest television shows in the form of series, season, and trailer reviews, episode summaries and discussions, and interviews with cast members. Popular television shows that Dani has covered include: Freeform’s Motherland: Fort Salem, Apple TV+’s Dickinson, Syfy’s Dawn of the Dead and Astrid & Lilly Save the World, and HBO’s Gentleman Jack. Writing for a wide genre of television shows has allowed Dani to acquire a competitive skillset and work ethic that exudes professionalism, creativity, and the ability to speak to a diverse audience.
As a journalist, Dani uses her platform to advocate for accurate, positive representation and visibility of marginalized communities (i.e., women and the LGBTQ+ community), and diversity behind and in front of the camera. One of Dani’s proudest achievements to date is her article, “Dickinson Series Review: Series Creator Alena Smith Gives Roots to Lesbian-Queer Women History”, in which she discusses the importance of showrunners, creators, and storytellers providing visibility to lesbian-queer women in literary history who have otherwise suffered from erasure. Her Dickinson series review landed her an invitation as guest speaker on the Dickson Forevermore podcast this year where she described the power of the lesbian-queer women’s voice and how Emily Dickinson’s poetry has been a touchstone for her readers. A number of articles written by Dani have also earned social media recognition and mention by showrunners and screenwriters.
