He was a Business Correspondent at The Punch newspaper and an Ex-Associate Editor and Data Analyst at NatureNews. He was also the Factcheck Editor at NatureFact, the verification arm of NatureNews. Daniel Adaji was the Lead Researcher and Data Analyst with The Insight. He holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the the University of Agriculture Makurdi and has attended several trainings and workshops related to the news media.
He is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigerian Factcheckers' Coalition.
