Abstract Objectives Decision making (DM) is a component of executive functioning, essential for choosing appropriate decisions. Executive dysfunctioning is particularly common in late-life depression, however the literature is scarce on DM. This case-control study aimed to evaluate the DM profile and performance in participants with and without unipolar major depression.

Table S1. Normative data for the MoCA in individuals aged 50 to 59. Z‐scores are presented for each MoCA raw score and level of formal education. Z‐scores for the MoCA not including an extra point for low education. We suggest a z‐score ≤ −1 for a screening that favors higher sensitivity and a z‐score ≤ −1.5 for a screening that favors higher specificity. Individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment typically perform in the −1.0 to −2.0 range.
