What was your first job as a journalist?

My first full-time role is my current one as a Local Democracy Reporter at the KM Group.

How is social media changing news?

The increased demand for instant-access news makes speed of publishing much more important

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Mikael Blomkvist

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It's probably pretty cliche, but to show people things they wouldn't see otherwise, or change their minds on something ubiquitous

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

G Suite, Microsoft Office, etc

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Either my piece on homelessness in southeast kent, or on my experiences as part of a Trotskyist group

What's your favorite drink?

Probably just a decent cider

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Out on a stroll or with friends
