Yes, once or twice. I felt like the male Jessica Fletcher.
How is social media changing news?
I feel it has broken down barriers and helped to add transparency due to the fact it's so instant.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist is showing an appreciation for the world in which we live and it's many nuances; it's a way of constantly learning.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I generally use keyword tools (if needed), Google docs, Google calendar and Evernote to stay organised.
What's your favorite drink?
I like Scotch; I like Guinness; I like orange juice (not at the same time).
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The various VICE channels, The Molotov Cocktail, Litro, Lonely Planet and Brain Pickings.
