TV Review: Strangers Making Babies
TV Review: Strangers Making Babies 17 May 2021 Appeared in BioNews 1095 As anyone who has met me will attest, I am very rarely lost for words, but Channel 4's Strangers Making Babies documentary has left me dumbstruck. However not for the reason it seems to have shocked tabloids or Twitterati, but as a queer person who considers co-parenting as the way I want to have children in the future I feel let down, othered and societally shamed.

TV Review: The Split (BBC 1, Episode 3, Series 1)
As avid readers of BioNews will know, I am a hard-to-please reviewer: more than willing to turn on TV, films, plays, radio or books that poorly represent any fertility issues, particularly those with legal dimension. So it is with a heavy heart that I must disappoint this time dear readers - I love 'The Split'! The Split follows a family of high-flying, female, divorce lawyers: the Defoes, whose personal lives are just as turbulent as their warring clients.
TV Review: The Good Karma Hospital
For those that haven't seen the previous series of The Good Karma Hospital, well done you for having dodged a very dull bullet. In a quick summary, the series follows a junior doctor working at a hospital in south India run by an eccentric ex-pat. The cast features some '90s stars I long thought retired; I am glad to see they are still getting work involving extended stays in warm climates with plenty of scenes in a bar on the beach.
