Basic Math (1977) - MobyGames
The Good This game is loved for its simplicity; as one of the first Atari games to be released out there, this one is the simplest, most basic of all. All you do is move around the block to solve the operation (adding, subtracting, multiply, divide, etc...). Nothing really mind-blowing, but it's just plain fun to resolve simple operations. I'd spend hours playing this game and never get tired of it; The Bad People will complain that it's an electronic version of what the were taught in first grade.
PC-DOS (included game)
The Good Most will probably agree when I say that its "historical significance" is the only thing about this game that might spark some interest. Before it had that, I don't know if there was any reason to play it at all. The thing is that if you're a PC gamer today, it's certainly a nice thing to take a minute and start up this program, for one simple fact alone: there's no other game that's closer to the birth of the IBM Personal Computer than this one.
Dodge 'Em (1982) - MobyGames
At the top of your screen you see a mother ship. It is your mission to shoot this mother ship, dodge the laser beams and score points. The more damage you do to the mother ship the more alien dishes pop up. These alien dishes also shoot at you. After you lost all your lives by getting hit, the game ends and it will show you how many points you have scored.

Bongo's Bash (1985) - MobyGames
You are Bongo the gorilla and you're being pursued by evil robots. Your job is to collect the coconuts and leave the maze while avoiding the robots or dropping trees in their path leading them to a fiery demise. Very much like Pac Man.

One player can race against 3 computer-controlled enemy riders, or compete against friends in a local network or over the Internet. All riders receive the same bike equipped with a nitro injection, giving a speed boost and lifting the bike's front wheels, but spelling disaster when approaching jumps.

Densha de Go! Nagoya Railroad

Grand Theft Auto V
Exploring the city, 1% at a time The Good + When you die, you do not lose any of your weapons and ammunition. You only lose some cash. If you invest most of your money in the stock market, the amount of money lost is minimal. Police wanted levels can be easily cleared. I once got four stars, and I simply hid in an alley for two minutes, and the four stars immediately vanished. Police doesn't scare you ONE BIT.
Tōkyō Bus Annai (1999) - MobyGames
In Tokyo Bus Guide, players drive on three real-world routes of the Toei Bus service. In addition to stopping at the right bus stops on time, triggering announcements, and ensuring passenger comfort by not accelerating or braking too harshly, drivers also have to follow the rules of traffic by stopping at traffic lights, obeying speed limits, and correctly indicating when turning or changing lanes.
Law & Order: Legacies
Through a series of seven episodes, Law & Order: Legacies tells crime stories that are loosely connected and based around detective and attorney characters from the universe of the Law & Order TV show, in particular the original series and its spin-off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Players work alongside nine popular characters from the shows (not voiced by their original actors) in solving the cases from police work to conviction.
Grand Theft Auto
The Good Near the end of my high school years, an old friend of mine installed a computer game that was all the rage at the time. It was known as Grand Theft Auto, and when he started a new game to show me how it worked, he moved his character around for a bit before deciding that it wasn't the game for him. The thing is, he didn't get very far into the game before reaching his decision, as the game's blocky graphics put him off despite his system meeting the requirements.
Carmageddon 3: TDR 2000
The Good Well, finally Carmageddon finds an actual place in the "racing" genre. Ever wondered what those checkpoints were for in the first two Carmageddons? Well now you'll have an excuse to actually "race", because that is what Carmageddon: TDR 2000 is all about. Where in the first two games, racing was a sort of excuse to get you to run over pedestrians and wreck cars, Carmageddon: TDR 2000 puts a lot of emphasis on racing.
Bus Simulator (2007) - MobyGames
Bus Simulator 2008 puts the player in charge of running a bus company. The goal of the game is to maximize profits by successfully completing various bus tours. The player can chose from a selection of buses, each costing a different amount to rent. Once a bus has been selected, the player can drive a line with varying amount of stops. When driving the bus, it is important not to violate traffic laws (which will result in fines) and to be punctual at each of the stops on the line.

Once again, the WorldRunner has to journey through different worlds and battle the Serpentbeasts that are terrorizing the people. Determined to get it back, he sets out to explore the landscape around his house and find the mysterious thief. Marvin's Mittens is a non-violent fantasy platformer without enemies or traps; the player character cannot get hurt. By collecting snowflakes, Marvin can continually increase the height of his jumps, allowing him to reach new areas.
Hitman: Codename 47
The Good While there is a wide range of weapons available to you in this game, it's hardly a "shooter" - your path to success is paved with stealth, sharp observation, and careful planning. It's even more of a "sneaker" than the Thief series. Enemies will watch you constantly, and if they study you long enough, they will remember you. If you do anything suspicious while they're watching (like, simply drawing a weapon, or killing someone) they will attack you, or run off to alert other enemies.
Half-Life (1998) - MobyGames
The Good I honestly don't know how everyone can be wrong about the exact same thing, but I suppose that's how you kill an American president back in the 1960's. I read over and over again that the best thing about Half-Life is the story. Well, it's a very average story: something goes wrong at a top secret facility and it's up to one guy to save the world from an alien invasion, even though the government tries to stop him. If you disagree, then what point could you make that would spoil the story?
XIII: Lost Identity
Description official description Based on the famous Belgian graphic novel XIII (but not otherwise related to Ubisoft's eponymous 2003 first-person shooter XIII based on the same source material), XIII: Lost Identity is a hidden-object game in which players take the role of the amnesiac man identified only through the Roman numeral for 13 tattooed on his chest.
Carmageddon (1997) - MobyGames
The Good A SCOTUS Judge sits impatiently as he listens to lawyers bickering about video game law. One argues that video games are pushing the boundaries of art and any attempt to categorize them will be short sighted. The other argues that they have unnecessary levels of graphic going to mention games where players are allowed to urinate, and encouraged to beat up hookers and go on drive by shootings. The judge feels a bit of vomit in his mouth.
Sky Odyssey (2000) - MobyGames
The Good This game really is a dream. I think there is no better way to describe the game's genre than "Sky Adventure". You start with a selection of three planes, and your task is to fly around in a group of four newly discovered, mysterious islands. Your final objective is to find out about the secret of the Tower of Maximus located somewhere in the area, but you'll have much to do before you get there.
Blast Factor (2006) - MobyGames

Independently controlling the directions of movement and shooting, the G-18 can be moved around freely within a cell while firing at any angle. Apart from weapon power-ups, the Repulsor allows the pilot to throw back enemies that get too close.
