State climate superfund statutes, federal legislation & dozens of lawsuits, target energy companies – Eco-warriors want to turn up the heat on your wallet to fund their climate agenda

If you think your energy bills are high now, just wait until the climate activists get their way. The Supreme Court is currently hearing one such case (Suncor Energy Inc. v. County Commissioners of Boulder County).
Op-Ed: Daniel Turner: Cement is at the forefront of Making America Great Again
To “Make America Great Again,” President Donald Trump understands that America must make the materials to enable greatness here at home. This principle has guided his bold actions on energy dominance, rare earth minerals, A.I., steel, ship building, and manufacturing, to name a few. All have improved our economic and national security. Now it’s time for something that can fly under the radar but is the literal foundation of our nation: cement.
Earth Day Flops as Climate Movement Runs Out Of Gas
Written by Daniel Turner on April 26, 2026. Posted in Current News With the world gripped by an energy crisis, the relative quiet from climate groups is an acknowledgment that their beliefs are no solution. Former White House chief of staff (and potential 2028 presidential hopeful) Rahm Emanuel is associated with the phrase: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” His point was parlaying voters’ short-term anxiety into long-term political gain.

For Minnesota, climate obsession is just another fiscal disaster
The Minnesota Capitol Building in St. Paul, Minn. (Alpha News) It’s not hyperbole to say that Minnesota is a fiscal disaster. And that is not just my opinion. Nearly 100 mayors in the state signed a letter to their governor, Tim Walz, questioning his policies under which an $18 billion budget surplus became a $3 billion deficit during a three-day period. In the private sector, a decline this precipitous would get any CEO fired or indicted.

Power the Future: Why America Must Win the AI Race
During his State of the Union, President Donald Trump introduced a revolutionary relationship between government and corporations regarding energy. In any other era, such a paradigm shift would be front page news. Sadly, more time was spent discussing silly protestors in giraffe and frog costumes. Energy policy is not always sexy, but it is the most crucial to our economy, national security, world peace, and human dignity. Energy announcements like this one deserve attention.
Dear President Trump, Take Their Oil
President Trump has coupled his foreign policy to his energy policy with a firm belief that if the U.S. controls the world’s oil markets it can set the stage for world peace. This means a return of crippling sanctions on Iran - sanctions the previous Biden Administration removed - with the goal of ending the regime’s use of oil and gas revenue to foment terrorism.
The GOP can’t ‘wield’ the administrative state without being corrupted by it Original
Many Americans have watched Peter Jackson’s movie trilogy “The Lord of the Rings.” And many have read J.R.R. Tolkien’s books. Some can quote whole passages and trace Tolkien’s deliberate references to the life of Christ and the horror of modern war. Maybe House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) live in that camp. If not, they should.

This should happen anywhere data centers are in the discussion.

American energy brings peace and prosperity
By Daniel Turner Real Clear Wire When Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Alaska for Vladamir Putin’s meeting with President Donald Trump wearing a Soviet Union sweatshirt, he likely presumed the proactive image was a less-than-subtle proclamation of Mother Russia’s strength. It was not. The Soviet Union is long dead. America toppled the USSR, without firing a shot. America, and more specifically, President Ronald Reagan, defeated the evil empire by bankrupting it.

It Takes A Lot Of Jet Fuel To Throw A Funeral For A Climate Alarmist Pope
Original Article Posted By: earlybird, 4/29/2025 11:50:58 AM In his final act as pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, Francis, in keeping with his deep commitment to the climate and well-cultivated image of personal humility, could have foregone a papal funeral. To the thousands of world leaders and dignitaries flying to Rome as required by international protocol, Pope Francis could have extended an invitation to stay home.
How Trump turned around a Biden energy policy based on hand waves and lies Original
President Trump arrives at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ, Saturday, April 26, 2025, upon returning from a trip to attend the funeral of Pope Francis at the Vatican. AP The difference between the Trump and Biden energy agendas is more than two different policy prescriptions positions. It is a tale of two opposed visions of the role of government in shaping the future.

The Golden Age of Nuclear Energy Is Here
The Golden Age of Nuclear Energy Is Here By Daniel Turner The Biden Administration spent hundreds of billions of dollars to push renewables, and the result was a 30% increase in national utility prices. And yet, despite producing, (intermittent and expensive) electricity, no amount of wind and solar can make rubber or plastic or the millions of products we use, nor can they forge steel or produce cement.

Media Sob For Fired Bureaucrats After Telling Thousands Of Biden-Booted Energy Workers To Suck It Up
I was at the last outpost of the Keystone XL pipeline when President Biden shut it down in January of 2021. The only TV outlet there covering the shutdown was Fox News. My organization, Power The Future, fights for energy workers, and Joe Biden had declared war against them. Biden signed Executive Order 13990 just a few hours after his swearing in, and thousands of people were suddenly out of a job. I met Bugsy, a 30-year master welder, over the phone.

After voters soundly rejected it -- by electing Trump -- what's next for the radical climate agenda? Original
Donald Trump’s resounding election victory marks not only the Obama-Biden era’s end but the beginning of the end of the radical climate agenda. After all, one candidate promised to “drill, baby, drill” while the other had called climate change an “existential threat to who we are as a species.” Voters had a clear choice, and they chose accordingly. The climate movement’s future is cloudy at best.
Op-ed: Daniel Turner: Capitalism and fossil fuels remain essential, even if the United Nations disagrees
Imagine my surprise during an otherwise pleasant day when a youth envoy to the United Nations’s “Climate Week” started calling me names on Twitter. In fairness to this youth envoy, I started it. I reposted her remarks on climate, albeit with no commentary. For all she knows, I agreed. But, alas, I was not given such leniency, as is the case with the left.

The End Of The Petrodollar Is The End Of America’s Global Dominance
The petrodollar agreement with Saudi Arabia began in 1974, two years into Joe Biden’s first term as a United States senator. It ended this week, a half-century later, during Biden’s first term as U.S. president. Among all the news stories that matter, few rank higher than this. It’s bigger than President Trump and Hunter Biden’s convictions, bigger than jobs reports and inflation numbers, and perhaps even bigger than the southern border crisis.

Daniel Turner: Climate cultists will do anything to save the planet, except stay home
By DANIEL TURNER | POWER THE FUTURE Under President Joe Biden, the U.S. has spent more money than ever before in fighting so-called “climate change.” But climate activists continue to call for more. One wonders if it is ever possible to satisfy their demands. The climate agenda is flush with incongruities and inconsistencies, a nicer way of saying “lies.” Decades of unrealized doomsday predictions do not prevent more doomsday predictions.

Africans Might 'Know It's Christmas' If They Weren't Slaves To 'Green' Energy
Original Article Posted By: Hazymac, 1/5/2024 2:50:05 PM With the Christmas season ending and radio stations returning to their regular selection of music, one song I most certainly will not miss is that painful British tune "Do They Know It's Christmas." As hard as it is for me and my siblings, it’s harder still for our mother, who is having her first Christmas since 1963 without him. Dad’s days in the hospital and subsequent death ushered in a wave of emotions, memories, and ponderings about heaven, sin, salvation, and for me, fossil fuels.
Hold On To Your Wallet Whenever Politicians Say They Are Using ‘Science’ To Craft Policy
By Daniel Turner | Science is weaponized for political gain. Let us not even pretend otherwise. COVID hysteria was not that long ago, and we remember the “science” that told us standing six feet apart waiting to board the plane was necessary to slow the spread, but then we could sit shoulder to shoulder for several hours on a flight across country. But fret not, we wore masks, because science. Of course, you could take your mask off to eat or drink, because science.
Emasculation of the US military is the price it has paid for going 'woke'
I am a proud veteran . I attended college on a Navy scholarship and then served more than four years on active duty. I remember being taught that our mission was to ensure the freedom of all Americans, to defend freedom around the globe, and not just defeat our enemies, but to destroy them. We were a well trained, well equipped, extremely motivated fighting force.
Ending Title 42 gives criminal cartels free rein
Title 42 was never designed to fix the border crisis. The policy, put into place by the Trump administration during the pandemic, was effective but was simply a Band-Aid for the gaping wound we're experiencing at the southern border. As the sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona, I see first-hand the consequences that illegal border crossings are having on neighboring communities and the rest of the country.
If You Don't Want Wokesters To Ruin America's 250th Birthday, Plan Now Original
We are four years away from celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday, a remarkable milestone for innumerable and ineffable reasons. The odds were stacked against us, are stacked against us, starting from our own successful overthrow of the world’s most powerful king to the barbarism of the Civil War, through economic crashes, dustbowls, the scourge of slavery, the rise of Hitler, and the Cold War. Yet America lives on.
