The Encanto Neighborhood Field Experiments Dataset: Land–Atmosphere Interactions in Urban Phoenix
Abstract Urban environments exhibit strong spatial heterogeneity in surface properties and morphology, driving complex land–atmosphere interactions at neighborhood scales that remain poorly documented. The Encanto Neighborhood field experiments were designed to address this gap by collecting spatially dense, multi-dimensional and multi-parameteric observations across a ~3 × 3 km domain in Phoenix, Arizona.

The dynamics of cells, organisms, and fluids are often modeled as probability distributions evolving over time. Reconstructing and extrapolating this evolution from unpaired snapshots requires assumptions about the underlying process. Wasserstein gradient flows are a common choice, but they cannot describe conservative or periodic dynamics.

Arithmetical pluralism and the objectivity of syntax
1 INTRODUCTION Pluralism about some area of mathematics is, roughly, the view that there is no one true theory of that domain, but many apparently conflicting theories, each of which is true in its own language. Pluralism about geometry has been popular, even mainstream, ever since the discovery and systematic investigation of non-Euclidean geometry.
