What does it mean to be a journalist?
Sticking to the facts, being objective and standing up for the truth, no matter how inconvenient it may be to some.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
A possible headline and a snippet of information is all I need. I can do the rest.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use my PC and Android phone for my reporting and researching. I use Microsoft Word and Google Docs along with WordPress to do my work.

Why did you become a journalist?
Because writing is my passion and being a journalist is the pursuit of the truth and knowledge, the noblest pursuit of all.

Yes. I was a writer, editor for Opinions and co-editor for Sports.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am proud of everything I've done. Where I've been will help me get to where I need to be.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Being first should never take the place of being right.

Anytime day or night.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Anything that involved me going to a live event.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I had to do a story about gaming socks. How I managed 300 words on a pair of socks I may never know.

Coffee.
