2022 Best Ball Fantasy Football Draft Strategy: Making Your Underdog Fantasy Best Ball Mania 3 Roster Stand Out From the Field - Part 1
When drafting your Best Ball Mania 3 roster, simply choosing the best players when it’s your pick isn’t likely to cut it if you’re trying to make yourself a millionaire. It’s nothing like the fantasy football leagues or fantasy football mock drafts that you’ll do with your buddies at work or friends from high school. There are no fantasy football trades here, there's no roster management, no fantasy football waiver wire here. It's all self-contained and your roster is your roster.

2022 NFL Draft: AFC South Team Needs
The AFC South has not been a powerhouse as of late and the Houston Texans might still be a bit off from competing. But the Tennessee Titans are always a threat, the Indianapolis Colts just got a new quarterback, and the Jacksonville Jaguars went on the biggest free-agent spending spree of any team in the league. The odds are pretty tight as far as who Vegas likes to win the division so perhaps their picks in the 2022 NFL draft will be the deciding factor in the final rankings.

All salary numbers within the article are courtesy of OverTheCap.com.
Fantasy Football 2022: Top 5 NFL Free Agent Edge Rushers
The NFL season just ended, but that doesn’t mean we’re finished talking about football. Truthfully, the NFL offseason can be one of the more exciting times in the sport, with free agency, the draft, and trades, not to mention the rumors and speculation swirling around these events. The legal tampering period for the NFL begins in under two weeks, on March 14, and the gold rush officially begins on March 16, so we don’t have much time left before free agency hits.
Fantasy Football Deep Cuts: Week 17
What’s up everyone! Tera Roberts here with your free agency deep cuts for week 17. As always be sure to like this video and subscribe to Fantasy Alarm. At quarterback this week we have 2 options, both likely to play due to injuries at quarterback. The Ravens have been struggling at quarterback with Lamar Jackson dealing with an ankle injury and Tyler Huntley landing on the COVID list, missing last week’s game.
NFL Snap Count Breakdown: Week 8
In this article we break down the snap counts of all the fantasy relevant players for each week. Each team has a snap count chart with the percentage of total snaps played and below that you will find notes for each position group on anything that author Andrew Cooper found interesting (which running backs played more pass downs, whether tight ends ran routes or blocked on pass plays, which wide receivers lined up in the slot, who might have been injured, etc.).
NFL WR/CB Match-ups: Week 3
Published: Sep 27, 2020 Welcome to the weekly wide receiver/cornerback breakdown! We will review each of the outside matchups, as well as my 10 favorite matchups in the slot. Then, below the charts in this article, I break down my five absolute favorite matchups. Injuries played havoc on our receivers last week, so this article gives you an idea of what you can expect from a number of changing situations.
Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 3
Week Two of the NFL season was like the Red Wedding. We should’ve heard the Rains of Castamere coming when Nick Bosa and Parris Campbell went down early. And then it was all downhill when Saquon got hurt. That was basically Robb Stark’s offing. Try to remain optimistic if you got bit by the injury bug. Most fantasy owners did. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we’ll breathe new life into your fantasy team.
Fantasy Football TE Preview: Ultimate Draft Guide: Yin & Yang Strategy
Yin and Yang Tight End Strategy I have been accused in the past of providing analysis that is a bit “inside baseball”. And I would say that’s accurate. Some people don’t care for the minutiae of statistical analysis. They want to know that a guy is going to score points in fantasy this year – they don’t want to know why they will score points or what early signs to look for that tell you they should be capable of scoring points. Some people simply seek out rankings.
Fantasy Football Tight End Preview - Ultimate Guide To Drafting Pt.2
You just need one tight end. That’s the logic for most leagues. You’ve got one tight end spot and then a flex spot and, unless you are in a tight end premium league, you probably aren’t planning to start a tight end at the flex. If you are in a tight end premium league, you might start multiple tight ends and we have a separate guide for you here. If you are in some sort of two tight end format, then your league is mad weird. And, if you are in a normal league, then this is the guide for you.
NFL WR/CB Match-ups: Week 15
Published: Dec 12, 2019 Welcome to the weekly wide receiver/cornerback breakdown! We will review each of the outside matchups, as well as my 10 favorite matchups in the slot. Then, below the charts in this article, I break down my four absolute favorite matchups. The fantasy playoffs are here in season long leagues, so the lineup decisions have never been more important.

2019 NFL Draft Guide Player Profile: Robby Anderson
Published: Sep 02, 2019 After bursting onto the scene with Josh McCown as his quarterback in 2017, New York Jets wideout Robby Anderson took a step back statistically with Sam Darnold in 2018, but he still hauled in 50 balls for 752 yards and six touchdowns. However, Anderson’s upside is much higher with Darnold than McCown, and the way two hooked up over the final four weeks of the season provides optimism for 2019.
2019 NFL Draft Guide Player Profile: O.J. Howard
Published: Jul 02, 2019 After appearing in 14 games in his rookie season, Tampa Bay tight end O.J. Howard was limited to just 10 games in 2018, but what a 10 games they were! He hurt his foot/ankle in Week 11 last season, and never returned to action. However, in four less games, he increased his reception and yardage totals, nearly replicated his touchdown production, and continued to be one of the more dynamic tight ends in terms of getting down the field.
2018 NFL Injury Report: December 11
It was a crazy first week of the fantasy playoffs with several key players injured and some unheralded players picking up the slack. There are still some very big names on this edition of the injury report so if you managed to survive the first round then you will continue to be challenged to advance even further. GMs can at least take solace knowing that almost every other GM is facing some sort of crisis or dilemma as well, so the playing field is even.
NFL Week 9 Hot Takes
Howdy Howdy! I’m subbing in for Howard while he’s “Gone Phishin’” to admire Trey Anastasio’s guitar riffs from afar. So I’ve returned to the Hot Takes article to breathe self-deprecating life into this piece as I did so long ago for your Monday morning trips to the Loo. So let’s get to it! Uhhhhh What Happened to the Quarterback Revolution??? In a year where there is a TON of offense and insane depth at quarterback, Week 9 saw some of the most disappointing quarterback performances.
Fantasy Football Stock Watch: Week 1 Aftermath
NFL Week 1 is in the books and we saw some absolutely spectacular performances and quite a few duds as well. Fantasy football owners can be an incredibly fickle bunch and while we don't like to endorse giving up on a player after just one week, we are, at least, able to evaluate whose fantasy stock is on the rise and whose might be going in the tank.
2017 Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Report: January 11
Each week of the National Hockey League regular season, we will take a look at some of the most interesting names that may appear on the waiver wire in various fantasy leagues. It may be NHL players whose situation has improved because of injury, minor-league players recently recalled (or on the verge of a recall) or off to fast starts in the AHL. Here is this week's batch: 1.
2017 Fantasy Hockey Injury Report: January 2
Each week of the National Hockey League regular season, we will take a look at some of the most important injuries that have occurred in the last seven days, as well as key players that have returned from injury and updates on the conditions of other fantasy-relevant players (when applicable). Here is this week's batch: 1. Corey Crawford, G, Blackhawks (upper-body injury, IR) There is some mystery surrounding Crawford's current ailment, though it is suspected that he is dealing with a concussion.
2017 Fantasy Football Injury Report: December 8
Welcome to the fantasy playoffs as we kicked off Week 14 with a big NFC South matchup on Thursday night. Sure enough, there were a couple of critical injuries that will leave their mark on the results of this week’s playoff games. There are many players who are injured and may or may not miss Week 14 so critical decisions will have to be made right up until kickoff on Sunday. So, without further ado, let’s delve into the next edition of the fantasy football emergency room.
2017 Fantasy Football IDP Report: Week 5
Plenty of defensive ends to consider picking up this coming week, and a nice handful of defensive backs. Linebacker is what you would expect, with a nice bunch to help get you through the many injuries and the start of bye weeks. Let us see what we can do this scoring period to upgrade those IDP squads.
2017 NHL Draft Guide: Importance of Line Combinations
Fantasy Hockey: Importance of Line Combinations In hockey, line combinations can play a vital role in the success (or failure) of a team. Unfortunately, steady line combinations have practically become an endangered species. Today's modern NHL head coach is more interested in playing the right system than in who plays with whom. Previous generations saw lines on a hockey team remain fairly stagnant compared to today's NHL.
2017 Fantasy Football Tight Ends: Five Numbers To Know
I feel like the conventional wisdom regarding the tight end position makes sense, at least most of the time. I may be lower on Martellus Bennett than some, but I understand why people want to reach for a talented player in an Aaron Rodgers offense. I may not be as willing as some people to completely give up on Charles Clay, but I understand why he is largely going undrafted, especially considering the fact he may be catching passes from Nathan Peterman before long.
2017 NFL Draft Guide: IDP League Strategies
Congratulations, you have decided to begin enjoying the befits of playing in a fantasy football league that does not limit your player selection to the usual quarterback/running back/wide receiver/tight end offensive positions, but also allows you to select those beasts that play on defense, too.
2017 NFL Fantasy Football Preview – Impact Rookies | Fantasy Alarm
With the draft now behind us, so too – for the most part – are the rest of the offseason transactions that distract us from full focus on fantasy football. With our attention being refocused on box score projections and deep sleeper pickups, it’s time to reveal who of these newly drafted rookies will make the biggest and most immediate fantasy impact.
Fantasy Football: Why the Interest in Tavon Austin?
Why does anyone care about Tavon Austin? Is it because he was given a 4-year contract extension for $42 million ($30 million guaranteed)? Is it because his HC Jeff Fisher said that he thought Austin might be able to catch 100 passes this season? Hopefully the answer to those three questions are something akin to – I could give a flip about Austin. If you are a believer, and you think Austin is a good target for 2016, then keep reading. You will change your mind by the end of this piece.

Here we review all of the fantasy-relevant players dealing with ailments and how to plan accordingly. Keep in mind that the inactive list isn't due until 90 minutes before kickoff.
