Stand: 18.11.2025 19:20 Uhr Über 3500 Besucherinnen und Besucher sind zum diesjährigen Kinder- und Jugendfestival Loostik gekommen – weniger als im vergangenen Jahr. Trotzdem ist die Festivalleitung zufrieden. Das deutsch-französische Kinder- und Jugendfestival Loostik hat eine positive Bilanz seiner 13. Ausgabe gezogen. Es seien mehr als 3500 Besucherinnen und Besucher zu den Gastspielen gekommen, teilte die Festivalleitung mit. 2024 hatte die Besucherzahl noch bei rund 4000 gelegen.

Recently, something huge happened for our small but mighty contemporary circus company from Adelaide. At a performance during the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Gravity & Other Myths (GOM) welcomed our one-millionth audience member. They paid for a ticket, walked into a venue, took a seat and experienced the kind of home-grown, high-impact, sweat-and-soul-fuelled Australian work we’ve spent the last decade making and touring around the world. One million people. One million moments in mid-air.

It’s a privilege to be speaking to you all today on the traditional lands of the Eastern Kulin nation. I’m trying to get better at acknowledgement of place by doing a bit of research before I get there. It’s my understanding that the name of this place, Prahran, is actually a corruption of the name, Pur-a-ran. I’m told it means land partially surrounded by water and that it was an important place for ceremony.

El Grec abre este jueves su 47ª edición con 'The pulse' un magnético espectáculo donde se funden circo contemporáneo y música coral protagonizado por 24 acróbatas de la premiada compañía australiana Gravity & Other Myths -que ya conoce el Teatre Grec donde en 2019 presentó 'Backbone'- y 36 cantantes del Cor de Noies del Orfeó Català. Cada uno proviene de mundos distintos pero han aprendido a convivir.
