Darrell Egan’s Biography
I have lived in Southern China for for years from 2009 to 2013 and been back every year since up until 2019. In establishing the first Chinese Australian Rules competition Football team in China which lead to sports Diplomacy between Australia and China from 2014 to 2017.
Having a front seat row to this Sports Diplomacy between the governments opened my eyes up to what lead to the deterioration with Australia and China relations.
This inspired me to be a contributing journalist with the Australian Independent Media Network with an investigative journalism piece on the breakdown of this bilateral relationship with a Non Anglo Centric view.
