David is a journalist, editor and producer with a body of work spanning reporting, analysis and documentary production for major digital publishers.
He recently joined Newsweek as an Editor, focused on developing the publisher's subscription content offering. He is also a member of the BBC × YouTube × National Film and Television School Digital Content Success Programme.
Previously, David was a Foreign Affairs Correspondent and Producer at DMG Media, where he developed and produced original long-form video series and documentaries for Daily Mail World's YouTube Channel (5m subscribers). Highlights include a documentary series filmed inside post-Assad Syria that was subsequently screened in Parliament, and the launch of Photo Evidence, a studio-based visual investigation format.
Before moving into video production, he held the position of Chief Foreign Reporter at MailOnline, leading day-to-day international coverage with a focus on defence, conflict and geopolitics. He reported from across the Middle East and Europe, interviewed former heads of state, defence chiefs and senior policymakers, and led the newsroom's Ukraine war coverage from the first day of the full-scale invasion.
