David Batkins’s Biography
David Batkins has worked in law enforcement for 40 years in total. His career as a police officer began in 1981 when he was hired at the Newport News Police Department as a patrol officer. Since then, David Batkins has worked in a variety of positions and has held senior roles including on the board of directors of the Virginia State Police Association. David Batkins plans to retire within the next ten or so years and enjoy his retirement.
