REPORT: Burnley 0, Pompey 0
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite captain Marlon Pack putting the ball in the net in the first 45, the Blues had to settle for a point at Turf Moor against Burnley. The result means that John Mousinho’s side move up to 11th in the Championship on 19 points. With another six to play for between now and the international break, with two fixtures in a row both in PO4, at home to Swansea City on Tuesday, then Stoke City in an early kick-off next Saturday.
Waddingham: "We're Prepared & We're Ready"
Photo Credit: Jason Brown After another injury setback during Portsmouth’s Carabao Cup first-round tie away at West Ham, Thomas Waddingham is looking to keep himself fit and firing as one of John Mousinho’s forward options. The 21-year-old striker had his biggest moment in a Blues shirt thus far, when he netted the winner in the Blues’ 2-1 win at home to Millwall last Saturday.
REPORT: Pompey 2, Millwall 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite Jenson Metcalfe capitalising on an early Portsmouth mistake and an Pompey's equaliser before the break, Waddingham’s strike on the 81st minute earned the Blues the 3 points. The tenth point in four games takes John Mousinho’s side up 11th in the Championship, as Pompey’s run of form now reads four unbeaten. John Mousinho made four changes to the side that drew 1-1 away at Molineux in midweek.

REPORT: Wolves 1, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown That’s 7 points collected from a possible 9 over the last 3 games and now just 1 defeat in 7 for John Mousinho’s side. For the second midweek match in a row, Portsmouth found a way to make sure they come away with something, as the Blues cancel out Jordan James’s strike to snatch a point in the Black Country. The point now takes John Mousinho’s side up to 13th in the second tier on 13 points, just two points off the play-off spots in 8th.
REPORT: Norwich 0, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown John Mousinho’s side climb up to 13th in the Championship following today’s results. After a solid first 45, Portsmouth capitalised in the second half, as Marezi put away his third goal of the season, since joining in the summer. It was an unchanged XI to the side that defeated Sheffield United 3-2 in midweek, while Tyrese Shade returned to the squad on the bench in place of Keshi Anderson.

REPORT: Pompey 3, Sheffield United 2
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Portsmouth almost came away with just the solitary point after Zak Swanson’s stunner and Adrian Segečić’s close-range effort were cancelled out by 10-man Sheffield United in the second half. The first win in 4 Championship matches takes John Mousinho’s side up to 16th in the table and with now 11 points out of a possible 27. Mousinho made 3 changes to the side that started in Sunday’s South Coast Derby.
REPORT: Southampton 1, Pompey 0
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite chances to claw back a goal against 10 men, John Mousinho’s side fell short and could not quite respond to James Bree’s opener. Portsmouth have 7 games in the space of just over 3 weeks ahead before the second international break of the season. Mousinho made some calls with the line-up this afternoon, with goalkeeper Nicolas Schmid coming back into the XI, as Daniel Bielica dropped to the bench.
Pack: “I think the lads grasp what it means to the city”
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Pack will be looking to lead the side he’s supported his entire life out onto the pitch on Sunday, in Portsmouth’s third meeting in the space of a year, with Southampton. The 35-year-old, who is now into his fifth full season at his boyhood club, will be hopeful that this time he can start in a derby, after being named on the bench in the last 2.

REPORT: Pompey 2, Blackburn 2
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite Zak Swanson giving Portsmouth the lead inside 4 minutes, Rovers went ahead via Dapo Afolayan and Ryōya Morishita; however, Colby Bishop's equaliser managed to make sure John Mousinho's side rescued at least a point. The draw means that Pompey sit 18th in the Championship on eight points, after matchweek eight, but have played one game less than a chunk of the other sides in the second tier.

REPORT: Charlton 0, Pompey 0
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite both teams having chances in either half, neither Nathan Jones’ nor John Mousinho’s side could quite earn the 3 points. The first draw of the season for Portsmouth means the Blues sit 18th in the Championship, on seven points, after 2 wins and 1 draw on matchday 7. Mousinho made one change to the side that defeated Cardiff City 2-0 at Fratton Park last weekend.

Photo Credit: Jason Brown Goals from Sammie Szmodics in the first half and Lars-Jørgen Salvesen in the second was the difference at Fratton Park. REPORT: Bristol City 2, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Lorent Tolaj and Jason Knight’s goals for Michael Skubala’s side were enough to make sure that Marko Milovanović’s first goal in Blues colours could not quite help Portsmouth earn at least a point in the West Country. The defeat means that the Blues’ long wait for a league victory at Ashton Gate continues, now up to 35 years, with the last win in BS3 still coming all the way back in 1991.

REPORT: Lincoln 1, Pompey 3

John Mousinho made three changes to the side that lost on opening day at home to Queens Park Rangers. In came Benjamin Arthur and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen for their first Blues starts, and captain Marlon Pack, who returned to the XI, for Adams.
REPORT: Pompey 1, QPR 3
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Goals from Ilias Chair, Kōki Saitō, and then Chair again in added time of the first half earned the R’s the three points. The loss is John Mousinho’s first on opening day in the Championship. There was one change to the side that lost 3-1 in the first round of the Carabao Cup at the London Stadium vs West Ham United last weekend.
REPORT: West Ham 3, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite an encouraging opening half-an-hour, Pompey surrender a lead and lose out to the highest ranked side to compete in the First Round of the competition at the London Stadium, in front of a record crowd for this stage of the competition. A brace from Valentín Castellanos and a left-footed strike from Jarrod Bowen, was enough to cancel out Adrian Segečić’s opener.

REPORT: Pompey 2, Oxford 2
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Andre Dozzell’s 88th-minute equaliser was enough to cancel out Will Lankshear’s late goal, which appeared at the time as it may have been the winner. Despite Connor Ogilvie being dismissed 17 minutes in, Portsmouth showed character and determination to make sure it was not a 5th straight defeat at Fratton Park. There were 2 changes to the side that drew 1-1 at away Norwich City on Good Friday.

REPORT: Pompey 1, Swansea 2

REPORT: Blackburn 1, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown Despite it seeming like Connor Ogilvie had won it for Portsmouth on 84 minutes, on his 150th game in charge, John Mousinho’s side were sucker punched inside the four minutes of additional time. There were two changes to the side that only just lost 2-1 at Wrexham in midweek.
REPORT: Wrexham 2, Pompey 1
Photo Credit: Jason Brown First half goals from Sam Smith and then Max Cleworth were enough for Phil Parkinson’s side to give Portsmouth their first defeat in almost two weeks. Despite Zak Swanson’s consolation early on in the second-half, and 15 corner kicks, John Mousinho’s side were unable to snatch an equaliser and another point on the board.
REPORT: Millwall 1, Pompey 3
Photo Credit: Jason Brown A goalless first 45 was followed by an action-packed second, where Portsmouth bagged 3 goals away from home for the second time this week.
