What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job was developing a blog for our school newspaper.

No, but there's a backspace button, right?
How is social media changing news?
It's changing the medium of how news is delivered in a much more swift and traveling process.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Phil (Bill Murray) from Ground Hog Day, hands down! That guy was a model of efficiency. Did he ever miss a Punxsutawney GHD, like, ever?
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means to be fair, objective, and concise in the way you are distributing a particular area of news for the sake of your audience.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
In person, with some sort of model or example that it presented along with it so I am able to follow.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My trusty laptop, Microsoft Office Suite, and a number of cloud-based platforms.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram. Visuals can be just as riveting and strong as words.
Who do you wish followed you?
I don't really wish of anyone to follow me! I don't do things with only the goal of being recognized, though it is a plus.
Why did you become a journalist?
I firmly believe that with good journalism, one can effectively shape the way one thinks for the better.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Duh! I began as a sports staff writer, then become the entertainment editor, and finally the video editor!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm extremely proud of a 1-on-1 interview I developed with one of my idols, DJ Skee.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Not that I'm some esteemed journalist or anything, but I would definitely say be you and be ORIGINAL! Have fun with it.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time of day. If you've got a great idea, and are passionate about something that you've curated, I'm all ears.
