David Solomon

Highly experienced professional, David Solomont has a track record of working in the software, technology, media, gaming, and transportation industries for over 40 years.

Over the course of his wide career, while working for different companies, he has developed strong professional skills in a number of areas, including business development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and venture capital.

David Solomont invests in technology companies, which are in its early stages. Also, he provides advisory services on business development, funding, mergers and acquisitions, and team building to these companies.

In May 2015, Solomont founded ev Transportation Services, Inc ("evTS"). Since inception, he serves as company’s Chairman and CEO. Moreover, in 1998, he founded Common Angels, with headhunters in Boston, Massachusetts. Solomont served as the Chairman and CEO of the company until 2004. Common Angels was one of the first institutionalized angel groups in the country.

Since November 2018, Solomont serves as the Chairman of OYO Toys.

Over the course of his career Solomont has held positions in a number of companies and institutions, including: founding Trustee and past Chairman at Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council; founding General Partner at Ventures, L.P.; Overseer and member of the Information Technology Committee at the Museum of Science in Boston; Technology Advisor to the Internet Working Group at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

This highly experienced professional graduated at the Tufts University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and also received a master’s degree in management from MIT’s Sloan School.
