It´s making it much more immediate, with shorter shelf life and more ways for it to reach people and for people to react to it.

Myself.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, it means reconciling what you feel like writing with what people want to read, while at the same trying to trigger emotions from them.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
During a meal.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Lot´s of Google for research. Excel to put ideas in order. Word to write the articles. Occasionaily. PowerPoint to draft charts.

Still Facebook for now.

Why did you become a journalist?
I was seeking some ego boost gratification.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn´t.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My Manu Ginobili goodbye letter maybe some people cry. My Basketball Hall of Fame visit story was very personal and hence emotional to me.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
I still consider myself an aspiring journalist so my advice to myself would be to persevere.

With a few days´ notice.

Hasn´t come yet.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Had a brilliant idea once, middle of the night, half asleep. Tried to pitch it to myself the next morning. Worst. Pitch. Ever.

Iced tea and mojitos.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
On a couch or on a basketball court.

I like reading Bill Simmons, Brian Phillips, Shea Serrano, Zach Lowe, among others.

That we have no idea what´s going on in other places of the world.
