His affection for breakdancing ignited at the age of 14 upon witnessing youths engaging in the dance near Penn Station in NYC. He finds the freestyle nature of breakdancing exhilarating and socially engaging, offering him a canvas to express his creativity without boundaries.

Philanthropy is a core aspect of his ethos. David Toaff Maryland's commitment to giving back has seen him support the Beit Elazraki Children's Orphanage in Israel since 2014, alongside contributions to Wounded Warriors from 2016 and Magen David Adom starting in 2017. His volunteer work is equally impressive, having lent his time to The Salvation Army in Washington, DC, in 2019 and Manna Food Bank in 2023.
