David Weiss’s Biography
I'm a polyglot, an auto-didact, a man for all seasonings. Have been a songwriter, co-writing with Bob Dylan and Iggy Pop, a band leader and a jazz critic. I have golfed all over the world and continue to travel and hit balls for a living of sorts. I covered CES for NPR for some years and continue to be interested in technology.
I like to write about that which I like -- golf, green chiles and chilled down jazz.. I used to be hip, then artificially hip, and now I get about on an artificial hip. What goes around, stops. Believe that.
Have bags packed with parkas and pills and will go anywhere they speak locally-sourced cocktails. I prefer a nine-iron to leg-irons, and a good rack of ribs to a punch in the jaw. That's me, the wandering Philistine, in search of truth, justice and the America we know and love. It's still out there....
