What was your first job as a journalist?
My first publication as a writer was for the Whiskey Network Magazine.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means providing an article that is enjoyed by my audience and one that creates an interest or conversation.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Microsoft Word and Grammarly for my writing. I also use various resources on the internet for research.
What's your favorite social network?
Social networks are a great tool and serve various purposes, depending on the need. So my answer is that it depends.
Who do you wish followed you?
I invite all to follow me who are interested in what I write about.
Why did you become a journalist?
I started writing to fulfill a dream of mine and out of a desire to share what I have learned.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never stop learning and exploring your interests.
What's your favorite drink?
I love most any whiskey, a classic Old Fashioned or a lovely full-bodied red wine.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
When I'm not writing, I am likely going to be at my local cigar lounge or tavern.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I enjoy reading articles from various food, wine, whiskey, and cigar industry magazines.
