David Haigh’s Biography

David Haigh is an international human rights lawyer, crisis manager, broadcaster and news commentator, and one of the leading voices on justice in Dubai, the UAE and the wider Gulf.

He is Founder & CEO of Haigh International Justice, Co-Founder of Detained International and Founder of Dubai Watch. He writes for The Guardian, The Independent and The New Arab, and his work has featured on BBC HARDtalk, BBC Panorama, 60 Minutes Australia, PBS Frontline and in The New Yorker's In the Dark podcast. In 2021 Amnesty International confirmed he was the first Briton found hacked with NSO Group's Pegasus spyware.
