An accomplished executive producer, David Nicksay worked recently on Step Up: All In (3D), a film representing the fifth entry in the successful dance franchise. The movie was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Lionsgate distributed the finished product in August of 2014. Before establishing himself in the entertainment industry, David Nicksay completed the Assistant Directors Training Program through the Directors Guild of America. While in the program, he worked on one of the first miniseries ever created, entitled Rich Man, Poor Man.
Following his apprenticeship with the Directors Guild, David Nicksay worked his way up to associate producer and supervising producer before becoming a full producer with MGM and 20th Century Fox, where he helped produce films starring actors like Diane Keaton, Mel Gibson, and Winona Ryder. Mr. Nicksay's career then took off, allowing him to work on a wide range of films, including The Untouchables, Coming to America, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and more recently, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.
For recreation, Mr. Nicksay plays golf and follows college football.
