David Preschlack’s Biography
A distinguished business executive, David Preschlack has served as the president of National Broadcasting Company (NBC) Sports Regional Networks and NBC Sports Group Platform and Content Strategy since January 2016. In this role, David Preschlack has helped bring together Comcast SportsNet (CSN) and two networks from The Comcast Network (TCN) under the NBC Sports umbrella.
Before working at NBC, David Preschlack served as the executive vice president in affiliate sales and marketing for Disney and ESPN Networks Group where he supervised the content distribution of WATCHESPN, WATCHABC, and WATCH Disney products to the handheld and connected devices market.
After finishing his degree in economics at Denison University in 1995, Mr. Preschlack joined ESPN as a videotape librarian. He eventually rose to a senior vice president position, a role in which he took charge of the sales, business strategy, and affiliate marketing for Disney and ESPN products and services in the United States. He met his wife, Alexandra, while working at ESPN.
Mr. Preschlack lives in Connecticut with his wife and children and enjoys traveling, tennis, and reading about history.
