Haven
Designed by Mike & Maaike, Watson‘s Haven is described as “a collection of tables and tools designed to bring people together intentionally and purposefully.” It includes multiple high tables for impromptu gatherings, as well as the Perch table and Recharge bench – for those in-between nooks where office denizens need a place to lean while charging or checking their phones – and the Media Panel and Monitor Mount, which can turn any Haven table into a video conferencing pod.
Buffer
This office accessory by Loftwall provides a simple solution with multiple benefits: the partition is adjustable, moveable and can rotate, plus it’s tackable. But most important, Buffer is made with all-recyclable material. It comes in nine sizes (two-, three- and four-foot widths by four-, five- or six-foot heights) and a variety of bright and and neutral finishes.
Takku
Designed by renowned U.K. firm Foster + Partners, Takku was named for the Japanese word for tack. It has an undeniable architectural quality to it, with a smooth-capped LED portable lamp and weighted base. The Artemide lamp is also rechargeable; with three brightness levels, it can last for at least 20 hours.
Weekday Collection
The catalyst for Hay‘s Weekday collection by Hannes & Fritz may sound familiar to some – a convivial dinner party with not enough seating. Designers Hannes Breur and Fritz Gräber (who work collectively but remotely, with Breur in Stuttgart and Gräber in Zurich) cobbled a bench by hastily screwing together leftover wooden planks.
Bellmonde Chairs
To serve as striking companions to his Bellmonde dining table for Dedon, Danish designer Henrik Pedersen has devised an armchair and lounge chair that are intended to cultivate a “chill-out atmosphere” and bring people together. After determining that curved and rounded shapes are ergonomically ideal for comfort, Pedersen crafted a wraparound “wing” to form a continuous and combined arm- and backrest.
Amarcord Big Cabinet
Italian designer and founder of Promemoria Romeo Sozzi has resurrected and reinterpreted a treasured piece from his company’s historical archives. The updated Amarcord Big cabinet maintains the original 1998 version’s overall essence but scales up the dimensions of its parallelepiped modules. Crafted using ancient cabinetry techniques from quality fine materials, the modular dual-volume storage cabinet was inspired by the 1975 movie of the same by renowned Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini.
Solo Dining Chair
Inspired by the Eames Shell Chair, the Solo Chair is an updated version that transforms the early industrial look of the Eames iconic chair into a sophisticated, comfortable chair that is suitable both in domestic and commercial settings. Solo chair has an upholstered shell that hugs the sitting body to create a microcosmic universe for the person, becoming an object of shelter and refuge, where the person can be “solo” and undisturbed while being hugged in this position.
Petit 3 Chair by De La Espada
