LipidMem-BigSMILES (LiMBS): A Standardized Representation Language for Lipid Membrane Systems
The system block appears first in every LiMBS string and encodes the membrane identity and construction metadata. Fields are separated by ∥ and must appear in a canonical order. The rsln: field specifies molecular resolution and governs solvent compatibility. AA (atomistic) requires TIP3P, TIP4P, SPC, or SPCE; CG (coarse-grained) requires W; SCG (super coarse-grained) requires WW. A mismatch between rsln: and sol: raises error LMB-E180 or LMB-E181.

We present a comprehensive study of the $\mathcal{O}(α)$ radiative corrections to two-neutrino and neutrinoless double-$β$ decay within a heavy-nucleus effective field theory. We compute all virtual and real-emission corrections for intermediate nuclear states of arbitrary excitation energy, including new closed-form expressions for the required one-loop integrals with heavy-nucleus propagators.

Self-Assembling Nanoparticles to Assess Multivalent Interactions between Influenza A Virus Hemagglutinin and Glycan Surfaces
A very important lesson that can now be drawn from these observations: mixed NPs are more superselective than pure NPs. This is confirmed by plotting the binding of the mixed NPs at varying Sia densities and as a function of the functional HA fraction in a superselectivity plot, like Figure 5B (see Figure S11). This figure shows that the superselectivity parameter α is higher at lower HA fractions.

Survey response and participating centres Responses were received from all nine Dutch NICUs, represented by neonatologists (N = 7) and child neurologists (N = 2). Among the seven university medical centres (UMCs) with a paediatric neurosurgical department, neurosurgical representatives from all centres responded.
Centralization of MR image-guided adaptive brachytherapy for cervical cancer in Austria: feasibility and outcomes
This analysis with data from the majority of Austrian radiotherapy departments suggests that centralization of MR-IGABT for locally advanced cervical cancer is feasible and results in oncologic outcomes comparable to those achieved in prospective international trials [3].

Predicting daily stress from voice features in a naturalistic setting: a comparison of regression and machine-learning approaches
ORIGINAL RESEARCH article Volume 8 - 2026 | doi: 10.3389/fdgth.2026.1987796 Reviewed by ORIGINAL RESEARCH article Article metrics View details Abstract Smartphone-based measurements are an interesting approach to monitor stress and potentially promote mental well-being without burdening users. Voice features are increasingly explored as low-burden indicators of stress, yet most evidence comes from laboratory studies with induced stress and limited ecological validity.

Low Tacrolimus C 0 /Dose Ratio is Associated with Higher C max and AUC Despite Similar Pre-dose Concentrations
Within a predefined C0 concentration window of 5.0–6.0 ng/mL, we observed that both tacrolimus peak concentration and total exposure differed substantially across C0/dose categories. In a setting with comparable pre-dose concentration, a low C0/dose ratio was associated with higher Cmax and AUC0–24h than intermediate or high ratios.

Sophisticated Inference is a variant of active inference often associated with recursive belief modeling and tree search. We argue that its central computational role is simpler: within a planning horizon, it makes active inference closed-loop by allowing future actions to depend on future states and observations.

Association between health system navigation factors and preventable trauma mortality in Western Cape, South Africa
Background Timely access to trauma care is critical to reducing injury mortality. In the Western Cape of South Africa, trauma care is delivered in a tiered system. Resource limitations at lower facility levels—such as limited imaging, surgical access, or after-hours support—necessitate transfers to higher levels for on-going care of serious injury. Delays—including delays from transfers—can impact mortality.
Facilitators and barriers to early-stage dementia care: a qualitative study on the perspectives of people with dementia, informal caregivers, and healthcare professionals
Abstract Background: While timely support can benefit people with dementia and their informal caregivers, the period between recognizing first symptoms and receiving a formal diagnosis is often prolonged. Barriers like stigma, denial, and symptom misinterpretation hinder care acceptance, leaving many without adequate support.

Clinical/Scientific Note Open Access Introduction Ferritin is an iron storage protein that consists of light and heavy chains, encoded by the FTL and FTH1 gene, respectively. Recently, de novo heterozygous FTH1 variants were described to cause a neuroferritinopathy with a distinctive phenotype consisting of early-onset and apparently static developmental delay and regression later in life.
