Will Rolex let you change Dial at service center ?
#2 · Short answer is no, Rolex will only put on what came with the original reference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk #3 · Just curious, my mother-in-law replaced her original DJ dial with a serti dial — all done by Rolex (I know because they wouldn’t allow her to keep the original dial). That was about 8+ years ago though. Perhaps they allow it if it’s an upgrade? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk #4 · I dont think so sadly.
Show us your Limited Edition Omega
#2 · Omega do limited editions? Get out of here.... #5 · Your jealous!:-d (joking) Yes, it is humour to joke about the limited editions. It's also fun to see all not so common variants. #3 · Great idea for a thread. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to offer so I’ll just be a window peeper. #4 · Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk #6 · 11007 is still limited right? #7 · Apparently so! :-d #8 · Here is a shot of my PO LM LE which is 1 of 1948 pieces.
Seiko Samurai v Tudor Black Bay v Rolex Submariner shoot out
Outstanding post Dog - loved it - great work - thank you As you & others acknowledge the comparison is of course not even: UK prices roughly: £350 vs £2800 vs £5500 I think it shows a few things: 1) you dont have to spend huge sums to buy a cracking watch; 2) the principle of diminishing returns is clear= the BB is not 8x the Seiko, the Rolex not double the BB; 3) there are clear noticeable improvements in ability & quality the more you pay I think the comparison becomes more interesting as...
I'm going to buy it... VC 1942
#1 · As the title states... is there any BURNING reason not to? I've been searching for months for a wedding watch to purchase around the 10-15k USD Range. At first my choices were rather limited (by budget) and I was looking at a couple of JLC's / Moser etc. The VC Fifty Six Day Date was out of my reach. Then I got to know one of the salespersons at the AD through a mutual friend and she managed to work a discount that brought the VC fifty six day date well within the budget.
Grand Seiko Thickness
#2 · If thickness was such a deterrent, people wouldn’t be buying them. I suggest you try it before you knock it. Visit an AD and try a few on for size and decide for yourself. No amount of persuasion by forum members is gong to convince you otherwise. #5 · If thickness was such a deterrent, people wouldn't be buying them. I suggest you try it before you knock it. Pelagos and small wrist?
#2 · Hi, anyone out out there successfully rocking a Pelagos on a small wrist? By small I mean around 6.5 inches. Going to the big smoke in May to try on some watches at the AD's but I guess I'm impatient to know. I suspect the Exp I 39mm will be more to the taste but damn I love the look of the Pelagos, especially the LHD! Thanks, B79 This is a great question and I want to see what others think because I'm not too far from that small size.
Thoughts on Jaquet Droz?
#1 · I've posted in a couple of recent threads my dad's interest in a Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Quantieme as a retirement gift from me. (Other contenders include a Cartier Tank MC, a gold Tank Solo XL, the new Cartier Santos, or a Breitling Transocean Day-Date.) Although I realize that Jaquet Droz is an extremely low-production brand, I'm still surprised at the almost total lack of active discussion of the brand on this forum.

Are there extremely famous and wealthy people with inexpensive watches?
#1 · There are a few threads here listing watches worn by extremely famous and wealthy people (presidents, actors, sports people etc) but these watches are mainly mechanical and luxury brands as far as I know (I’m open to correction). So I thought it would be interesting to find out if there are any extremely famous and wealthy people who wear inexpensive mass-produced quartz watches like Lorus, Casio etc.
MARCELO GONZAGA丨Contra todas as probabilidades

MARCELO GONZAGA丨
ENSAIO丨O descuido do Louva-a-Deus
MARCELO GONZAGA丨

Excess Text on the Dial, why?
The second thing that bothers be the most after date windows in awkward positions (ex 4:30); its the excess text on the dial.Whats the point of it? Does it attract buyers?
Perlon Strap Review [Brand: Eulit]
Living in Dubai, UAE; its a bit uncomfortable to wear leather/bracelet on my watches (specially from June to August), and I am a person that I like to wear all my watches around the year. Started by purchasing Cheap’sh Nato’s and Perlons, they where nice but I wanted something better.
