Dean Moses’s Biography

Dean Moses is an author, award-winning photographer, and freelance journalist. He authored "A Stalled Ox" from 1888 in 2015 and contributed to the "Cost Of Paper: Volume Four" with his short story "Not In Service" in 2017. This was followed up in 2018 with his short piece "A Cobweb Of Sins" included in "Cost Of Paper: Volume Five," also published by 1888. He contributed three short stories to "BONED Every Which Way 2016: A Collection of Skeletal Literature," and two shorts in "BONED 2017," published by Spaceboy Books. Along with the aforementioned publications, he won a competition which saw his introduction published in Grindstone Literary Services 2017 Anthology. Most recently his short story "F for Finality” is found in “The Dummies' Guide to Serial Killing And other Fantastic Female Fables” published by Fantastic Books Publishing, while “Restless,” another short, was published in “Dreams,” an anthology from Strange Days Books. His writing and photography have appeared in numerous New York based newspapers, including amNewYork Metro, the New York Times, The New York Daily News, the New York Post, the New York Amsterdam News, Spring Creek Sun, Ridgewood Times, Lefrak City Courier, and Queens Courier. He has received several photography awards, and in 2019, his photos were featured in Stonecoast Review from the University of Maine.
