D/ST & Kickers: Streams, Avoids & Longshots for Week 7
Bye weeks: can't live with 'em. As I do each and every week, today I'm taking a look at the D/ST and kickers whose teams are on bye heading into the week and then most importantly I'll give you a few streaming options, must-avoid candidates, and longshots at D/ST and kicker for this week. Finally I'll round off the article with a summary of next week's bye victims, because being ahead of the curve means winning fantasy matchups... sometimes.
Flex & Superflex: Who to Stream or Avoid in Week 7 & Beyond
Happy Week 7, fantasy managers! In this series refresh, I'll take a look at some spotlight Flex and Superflex (read: Quarterback, unless there is simply no reason to talk about their potential availability) options whose teams are on bye heading into the week - just in case you have any of them on your roster and need to replace them with a streaming option. For those who don't have those spotlight players, I'll give my take on what you should do if they hit your league's waiver wire.
D/ST & Kickers: Who to Stream or Avoid in Week 6 & Beyond
We're back - welcome to Week 6, fantasy managers! We've got double the amount of teams on bye this week, so you know what that means: there is plenty to do on the waiver wire and a good amount of selection to choose from. When it comes to positional importance in fantasy football, I'm an equal opportunist - I absolutely love having a D/ST and Kicker I can slot in for reliable points. Why?
D/ST & Kickers: Who to Stream or Avoid in Week 5 & Beyond
Every point counts in fantasy football. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who put up the points, just that they're on the board and that your number is higher than that of your opponent. Everyone wants more points; everyone wants that edge that will get their team over the line.
Next Man Up: Week 5 Injury Lineup Pivots
Picture this: it's Sunday afternoon, you're watching NFL RedZone on YouTubeTV (please sponsor us). Maybe you've spilt a little nacho cheese on your hoodie, it's fine. What's not fine is what happened in the upper-left game on your screen - you look up and your QB1 is down, writhing in pain, holding his left knee in both hands. Sigh. We've all been there: his season is probably over and your fantasy season could soon follow.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: NL West
Opening Night is upon us, baseball fans! It's been a long wait since the Commissioner's Trophy was last hoisted - 145 days to be exact - but baseball season is finally back and it's truly anyone's game (at least, theoretically). You know what that means - the final, sixth part of our MLB Fantasy Preview! I know, you've been brimming with excitement.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: NL Central
Second-to-last feature everyone. You know the rules by now: we're going division-by division, team-by-team, and featuring a key departure, key arrival, and player to watch from each - no repeats from our previous divisional features, so if you aren't caught up, go check them out. Editor: please place handy hyperlinks to each of our other divisional previews below. (Editor's note: I don't work for you, but fine.) AL East; AL Central; AL West; NL East.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: NL East
Welcome back, baseball fans! At time-of-writing, we're less than a week away from Opening Night/Opening Day festivities - can't you just smell the ballpark food already? We're popping over to the National League (with a designated hitter for the fifth season now!); same rules as with our American League previews apply, as this is one big series after all.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: AL West
We're less than 10 days away from Opening Day (even less away from 'Opening Night,' in fact), baseball fans! Astute readers will note that we're halfway-through our six-part series - having previously covered the AL East and AL Central - that means you're getting (fantasy) baseball content churned out at quite the rate within the next week-and-a-half.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: AL Central
Welcome back, everyone! Part two of our six-part MLB Preview Series continues - we've got Spring Training, the World Baseball Classic, it's the closest to Opening Day we can actually get without being there already. Last time out, we took a look at the AL East; this time, we're shifting our focus to the AL Central.
2026 MLB Fantasy Preview: AL East
With Spring Training underway and just under a month until the San Francisco Giants host the New York Yankees on "Opening Night" (Wednesday, March 25, 2026), there's no better time to dive into offseason moves and their potential considerations - on the field and for your fantasy baseball team. In this six-part series, we'll take a look at three players from all 30 Major League Baseball teams: one key offseason departure; one key offseason addition; and one player to watch.
