What was your first job as a journalist?

I was Radio reporter. It was an amazing experience in Galician Public Media (they're essential for a good society).

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, but just when I was a child. In my grandmother's house use to be an Olivetti. Later, one of my best friends made me a present: Olympia.

How is social media changing news?

Social Media are news for some users. Or readers? Or viewers? There's a disruption, because you cannot understand journalism withouth them.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

The Sports broadcaster of Captain Tsubasa or Tony Johnson in After Life. Always me when I dream to be Peter Parker.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Journalism is the best way to be a human spokesman. Tell stories is an absolute challenge that always has a reward.

What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?

El Mundo Today, the best way to understand the misreadings of our profession.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

It doesn't matter. Just tell me and we will get a new point of view. Email, WhatsApp, Call... Everything is ok!

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Multitask service. I use Millenium, Canva, CapCut and all the democratized tools that you can imagine.

What's your favorite social network?

'X', by the way. So many changes that have transformed it into a noisy maze, but always I find the thread to discover new stories.

Who do you wish followed you?

Maybe Diego Armando Maradona, because I could never catch him. It will be interesting that Gengis Kan follow my articles.

Why did you become a journalist?

Since I was consciousness, I would be a journalist. Don't judge me.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Not at all, I contribute to different media projects when I was on High School. I used to send Editor's letter to my local journal.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

When I traveled to Saudi Arabia and China to cover Supercopa de España and automotive innovation hub. Such different things, isn't? 4x4.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Just be a good person and talk with respect to all of your sources. Never a headline could be more important than the people.

When's the best time to pitch you?

24/7. I don't sleep so much time. I am always ready for an emergency call. I hope my family understand it.

What's the best pitch you ever got?

When I interviewed Mark Rosekind, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's former chief.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

Paying you with "visibility", like If I was a ghost. Some PR Manager also thinks that you're one of his/her employees.

What's your favorite drink?

Beer, I love to be a beer taster and talk about it on a blog called Beer Station.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Whit Chispa, my little Tasmanian Devil. It says that is a Pinscher dog, but when you suffer its energy you realize that is more than it.

Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?

Panenka, Libero and so may newsletters like Football Daily (The Guardian). Publications that you can read relaxed and able to enjoy them.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Sometimes seems that I'm angry, but It's just a criticism doses to hide my passions.
