Derek DeHoog has been in the corporate investigations business for close to two decades. Starting with Milliken and Michaels Credit Services in 1996, he held the position of senior investigative consultant. When the company changed over to NCO financial systems, Derek DeHoog retained his position and became the top revenue earner for four years in a row.
In 2004, Mr. DeHoog accepted the position of managing director and vice president of the corporate investigations firm Financial Risk Mitigation (FRM). FRM conducts investigative due diligence, which entails collecting necessary background data and performing assessments and analyses that allow its clients to establish financially viable business relationships. He has both domestic and international clients whom he consults in the areas of mezzanine finance, leverage buy-outs, pension funds, and investment banking, among other areas.
Mr. DeHoog attended college in New Orleans at Loyola University, graduating in 1992 with a bachelor of arts in philosophy.
