Behind every accomplishment in Derek Maxfield’s life lies a promise, one he made to a dying friend, to do something great with his life. That promise inspired Saprea, a nonprofit serving survivors of childhood sexual abuse, where Derek is a founding board member. Derek’s entrepreneurial journey began in software development, later leading him to launch Younique with his sister in 2012. The success of Younique enabled Saprea’s creation.
